Peer-pressure

One thing I am easily influenced by is authenticity. It influences me like mad. Women sharing their experiences. Women showing up how they want to show tf up!

I love it!

It is going to be my birthday on March 2nd and all is desire is to be as authentic as possible with my experiences.

Peer pressure and Influence

Now let me tell you about influence or peer pressure.

I really do not know the two but I know I am always influenced for good. FO influences me with her endless zeal for education. I see her obtaining her PhD and I am like yass totally. I learn endlessly as well although unstructured but daily I learn.

This recent Grammy Awards event, two women stood out to me: Doechii and Chappell Roan.

Doechii’s style with braids really appeals to me. I love it. The way Chappell Roan wears the white-faced makeup and the story behind it appeals to me.

These are woman so authentic in their style and craft. Their message, so clear for all to hear.

I don't know if this is what peer pressure feels like because I read a piece here that spoke on how peer pressure can be positive too sometimes.

How you find your friends still sitting after prayers to pray some more to God. How they listen to anendelessence—not sure I spelt them rightly—apologies. But every God themed girly should know the people I am talking of, they sang Juba. Yes.

How your friend listens to Juba and now you vibe to it too. How you now fancy Dunsin just cause.

I like that influence. Influence me in healthy habits. This is peer pressure rightly done.

Now I do not bother about wigs as much. I want to wear the finest braids for my birthday, maybe a denim outfit or a simple dress but something really elemental and beautiful.
